Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data InvestKode AI collects, how we use it, and your rights. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

InvestKode AI is an investment research platform that helps investors track company updates, filings, earnings events, and market news. We are based in India and can be reached at IT@investkode.ai.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use InvestKode AI:

Account information: name and email address provided through your Google account when you sign in
Google Calendar data: calendar events accessed or created via the Google Calendar API (see Section 4)
Usage data: pages visited, features used, and interactions with our platform
Device information: browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and analytics
Communications: messages you send us via email or support channels

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and improve the InvestKode AI platform
Add company events (earnings, AGMs, analyst days) to your Google Calendar
Send you relevant company updates and alerts you subscribe to
Respond to your support requests and communications
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

4. Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

InvestKode AI uses Google APIs, including the Google Calendar API, to provide calendar integration features. Our use of data received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google API scopes we request

We access your Google Calendar solely to add or update investment-related events you request. We do not read, store, or share your existing calendar data beyond what is necessary to avoid duplicate entries.

InvestKode AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data to serve advertisements or for any purpose not described in this policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: trusted vendors who help us operate the platform (e.g. hosting, analytics), bound by confidentiality obligations
Legal requirements: when required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority in India
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you
With your consent: for any other purpose with your explicit permission

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing IT@investkode.ai. We will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days of a verified request, unless retention is required by law.

Data received from Google APIs is not retained beyond the immediate session unless you explicitly choose to save calendar events.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Revoke Google permissions at any time via your Google Account settings
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We may use analytics tools to understand how the platform is used in aggregate. You can control cookie settings through your browser, though disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.

10. Children's Privacy

InvestKode AI is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of InvestKode AI after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

12. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
